Terms of Service

    Last updated: October 1, 2026

    1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of 1get, a link shortening, QR code, and analytics platform operated by Future Dev Solutions ("FDS", "we", "us", or "our"), including our web application at 1get.site, our REST API, and the 1get browser extension (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using our API, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

    2. Description of the Service

    1get provides:

    • Creation, editing, and deletion of shortened links with custom slugs, expiration dates, click limits, password protection, and UTM parameters
    • QR code generation and customization (colors, size, logo overlay, PNG/SVG export)
    • Click analytics with geographic, device, browser, and referrer breakdowns, and real-time updates over WebSocket
    • Multi-tenant organizations with team invitations and role-based access control (Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer)
    • Audit logging of account and organization activity
    • Paid subscription plans with usage limits and feature gating, billed through Polar.sh and, for legacy accounts, Stripe
    • A REST API and API key management for programmatic access
    • An optional browser extension for shortening links directly from Chrome, Firefox, or Safari

We may add, change, or remove features of the Service at any time, including features described in our public roadmap or documentation that have not yet been released.

    3. Account Registration and Security

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account with an email address and password, or sign in through a supported third-party provider (Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn). New accounts must verify their email address via a one-time verification code before completing onboarding. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

    4. Organizations, Teams, and Roles

Accounts operate within organizations. The user who creates an organization, or is assigned the Owner role, has full control over that organization, including billing, membership, and deletion. Owners and Admins may invite additional members and assign them the Admin, Member, or Viewer role. Each role has different permissions: Viewers have read-only access; Members can create and manage their own links and QR codes; Admins can manage all organization resources and invite members; Owners have full control, including the ability to delete the organization.

You are responsible for the actions of the members you invite into your organization, and for ensuring they comply with these Terms.

    5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service, including any short link, QR code, or API key you create, to:

    • Redirect to phishing pages, malware, ransomware, or other malicious destinations
    • Distribute illegal content, or content that infringes another party's intellectual property or privacy rights
    • Engage in spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or automated mass link creation outside our published rate limits
    • Attempt to bypass a link's password protection, expiration, or click limits without authorization
    • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limiting, authentication, or other security features of the Service
    • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or attempt to access data belonging to another user or organization
    • Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service or its API beyond what our published API is designed to permit
    • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
    • Use the Service in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to disable any link, QR code, or API key, and to suspend or terminate any account, that we reasonably believe violates this section.

    6. Subscriptions and Billing

1get offers free and paid subscription plans, billed monthly or yearly. Paid checkout and subscription management (including the customer portal) are provided by Polar.sh; some legacy accounts and webhook-driven billing events are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Polar.sh or Stripe, as applicable, to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

    • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand
    • You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise
    • Each plan has usage limits (for example, on links, QR codes, or API calls); we may enforce these limits by restricting further use once a limit is reached
    • If a payment fails, your subscription may be marked past due and, if not resolved, may be downgraded or cancelled
    • Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase

We do not process or store your full payment card details; that information is collected directly by Polar.sh or Stripe under their respective terms and privacy policies.

    7. API Access and Developer Terms

We provide a REST API for creating and managing links and QR codes programmatically. Access requires an API key, which is scoped, may expire, and can be rotated or revoked at any time from your organization settings. You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential and for all requests made with them.

    • API usage is subject to per-endpoint and per-plan rate limits; exceeding these limits may result in throttled or rejected requests
    • You may not share, sell, or sublicense your API keys to third parties outside your own organization
    • We log API request metadata (endpoint, method, status code, latency, and a hashed IP address) to secure and troubleshoot the API; see our Privacy Policy for details
    • We may change, version, deprecate, or rate-limit API endpoints, with reasonable notice where practical

    8. Affiliate / Partner Program

1get may operate an affiliate or partner program, described at1get.site/affiliate-program, for agencies, creators, consultants, and technical partners. Participation begins with creating a standard 1get account; applications are subject to review and approval by our team before any partner benefits, discount codes, or commission arrangements take effect. Specific commission rates, discount percentages, and payout terms, where offered, are governed by the separate partner agreement or program terms provided to approved partners, and we may modify, pause, or discontinue the program at any time.

    9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Future Dev Solutions and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including your link destinations, QR code designs, and uploaded logo images. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, resolving your short links and rendering your QR codes).

    10. Third-Party Destinations and Content

Short links you create redirect visitors to destination URLs that you choose and control. We do not review, endorse, or take responsibility for the content of any third-party destination linked through the Service. If you encounter a short link that redirects to harmful or abusive content, please report it to [email protected] or [email protected].

    11. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or disable specific links, QR codes, or API keys, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us, or if required by law. Organization Owners may delete their organization at any time, which permanently removes the organization's links, QR codes, and membership records, subject to the retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy (for example, audit logs and billing records).

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

    12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Future Dev Solutions and its officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or use, arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

    13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Future Dev Solutions and its officers, employees, and service providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, the content of any link or QR code you create, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

    14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and, for material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

    15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Future Dev Solutions' place of business[governing jurisdiction to be confirmed by Future Dev Solutions], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
